Illegal in-vehicle devices
Low-cost “privacy” devices used to avoid vehicle tracking. Their use is prohibited in the EU, yet they disrupt everything nearby — along roads, at ports and around logistics hubs.
Rastella is resilient multi-GNSS receiver software for drones, ground robots and vessels — built to keep position continuous and trustworthy, even when the signal is disrupted.
Works with
Satellite signals reach the ground extremely weak. A small interference source can take position away from an entire area — and every operation that depends on it. Rastella is built to keep it.
Interference
GNSS interference is rarely dramatic. Most of it comes from ordinary, civilian sources — some illegal, many simply faulty.
Low-cost “privacy” devices used to avoid vehicle tracking. Their use is prohibited in the EU, yet they disrupt everything nearby — along roads, at ports and around logistics hubs.
Defective amplifiers, antennas and industrial equipment can emit unintentionally in the satellite bands.
Spurious emissions and harmonics from nearby transmitters can fall on GNSS frequencies.
Aviation and maritime safety authorities have reported GNSS interference affecting large regions and civil traffic.
Rastella only listens. It is a passive receiver: it never transmits and cannot interfere with other systems.
Technology
When interference hits, an ordinary receiver loses its satellites. Rastella’s five-antenna array steers its sensitivity away from the source and keeps tracking.
Explore the technologyFive antennas observe the sky from five points at once.
Adaptive spatial processing places a null toward the interference and keeps satellite signals.
Position and its error estimate go straight to the autopilot, with no gap.
Hardware
Commercially available components, brought together by our own software.
A controlled reception pattern antenna (CRPA): five antennas on one plate see the sky from five points.
All antennas are sampled together, so their signals can be compared with each other.
An embedded computer runs our receiver software: acquisition, tracking, suppression and navigation.
Position and error estimate go to the vehicle’s autopilot or control computer as a standard GPS input.
Why Rastella
Rastella pairs commercially available components with receiver software we build end to end.
Our own receiver software, end to end. Improvements arrive as software updates, not as new hardware.
Everything runs on board. No dependence on connectivity.
GPS, Galileo and BeiDou tracked together for a stronger solution.
Position and error estimate arrive as a standard GPS input — on drones, ground robots and boats alike.

Pilot program — now open
We are working with a small group of manufacturers, integrators and operators. Pilot partners receive technical documentation and direct access to our engineering team under NDA, and help shape the product as it develops.
